It is the mission of TIMELINE Real Estate to redefine the outdated real estate business model in order to bring significant savings to our clients. It is our mission to make the buying and selling of real estate as cost effective as possible while maintaining the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, and service. About TIMELINE Real Estate
Cappy D. Myers developed TIMELINE Real Estate Services, Inc. to address the growing concerns of his clients as the economy threatened to wipe out their home equity, making it impossible for them to sell. He believes that the standard real estate business model is antiquated and has contributed to the rising cost of buying and selling real estate, namely unnecessarily high commissions. Cappy set out to create an entirely new business model that moved beyond the standard fixed commission to bring massive savings to current and future homeowners.
For sellers, TIMELINE charges an hourly rate instead of the fixed commission and only charges for services actually rendered. The hourly rate is based on the final purchase price of the property and is always limited so that sellers are guaranteed to save money. Further, if the buyer is represented by the same TIMELINE listing agent, the agent does not double his commission, bringing even more savings. At the end of the transaction, TIMELINE will provide an invoice that details exactly what services were provided and the amount of time spent on each service. Thus, you will know exactly how the total fee was calculated and what your agent did to earn his or her fee.
For Buyers purchasing a home not listed with TIMELINE, your agent will apply up to 1% of the purchase price toward your closing costs and/or down payment on your loan upon the close of escrow.
About the Founder
Cappy D. Myers is both a real estate broker and attorney specializing in real estate. He brings a unique and specialized knowledge to real estate transactions since he not only understands all aspects of the transaction, but also has the legal knowledge to protect his buyers and sellers. (Note that due to state and federal disclosure laws, employing Mr. Myers or any TIMELINE agent does not create an attorney/client relationship and no attorney/client privilege will apply.)
Additonally, Cappy comes from a strong public service background that includes over six years as a local Bay Area law enforcement officer. When the economy went on the decline and his clients voiced their concerns about high commissions and how they were seeing their equity diminish, Cappy's passion for public service kicked in and the result is TIMELINE Real Estate Services, Inc.
Cappy is also a dedicated family man facing the same situation as many of his clients; trying to grow and support his family in tough economic times.
